Routines

These are the routines that were introduced with the new competition structure in October 2008.
For National C there are 5 ages groups - U13, U15, U17, U19 and Over 19.  For FIG B and Regional D grades, there are just three age groups - Under 15, Under 19 and Over 19.
Each region may decide on the age groups for lower grades themselves.
In the East Midlands, we adjust the age groups for the lower grades according to the number of entrants. for each competition. The routines are the same for all age groups at each level.
Typically, this means that we run U15/O15 for grades E & F,  U13/U15/O15 for grade G and U11/U13/U15/O15 for grades H and I.
A competition logbook is available to club secretaries and coaches via the bg-coaches website.  It is planned to make the competitions logbook compulsory in due course and it is advised that you begin to implement the competition logbook immediately.
A 0.3 deduction will be made for anyone failing to perform an 'armset' at the start of a set routine at grades I to E. (This is 0.1 per form judge)
Until such time that the competition log books have become mandatory and where available, competitors will be given the choice of two compulsory routines. Irrespective of which routine is performed, all those within a specific category will be ranked together.

You can download a convenient Printable Routine List here.        The old grading routines can still be found by clicking here.
